Depression can make even simple things feel overwhelming
Many people struggle in silence but you don’t have to!
Things that once felt simple—getting out of bed, focusing on work, connecting with people—can start to feel overwhelming or exhausting. You may feel stuck, numb, or disconnected from yourself and the world around you.
✓ Sad, empty, or emotionally numb
✓ Lose interest in things you used to enjoy
✓ Exhausted or unmotivated, even after resting
✓ Overly self-critical or feeling like you’re not enough
✓ Difficulty concentrating or making decisions
✓ Want to withdraw from people or feeling disconnected from others

In therapy we will work to understand the patterns (often rooted in childhood) emotions, and experiences that may be contributing to your depression, while also building practical ways to reconnect with yourself and the people around you.
We will work with all parts of you, your mind, body, and emotional/spiritual experiences. Clients struggling with depression often describe losing a sense of purpose in life and wanting to feel connected to something “greater” than themselves. We start with making small, gradual changes. I encourage clients to get outside, move their bodies and be kind to themselves.
My goal is to help you reconnect with parts of yourself that you lost, to create more energy, insight, and a sense of possibility and hope for a different future and more meaningful relationships (including the one with yourself!)
