Anxiety can make your mind race and your body feel constantly on edge
But the good news: it is something you can learn to understand and change
When anxiety takes over, it can feel like your mind never gets a moment to rest
Your thoughts race, your body feels tense and on edge, and even small decisions can start to feel overwhelming. Anxiety can make it difficult to relax, sleep, focus, or fully enjoy your life and relationships.
✓ Overthinking conversations or situations long after they happen
✓ Feeling a constant sense of worry or dread
✓ Struggling to relax or “turn off” your mind
✓ Feeling tension in your body, trouble sleeping, or a racing heart
✓ Avoiding situations that feel overwhelming
✓ Feeling frustrated with yourself for not being able to just “calm down”
Are you?
Therapy can help you slow down and understand the patterns that keep anxiety going.
Together, we will explore the thoughts, experiences, and nervous system responses that fuel your anxiety, and work on practical tools to help your mind and body feel calmer and more grounded.
My approach focuses on the whole person, your mind, body, and your emotional experiences. I often start with a “bottom up” approach, teaching clients how to manage the physical symptoms of anxiety through body awareness and breathwork.
Over time, clients find they can relate to “the part of them that can feel anxious” differently and move through life without letting it run the show.
